I feel so strongly about it at this phase of my life i have enrolled in a 2 year community college to get my 1st degree of my life. I will move forward with something that is calling me. I desire to help. Help people make healthier life choices. Make some changes...for myself and hopefully others will join me. God led me to Livestrong. My knee pain, led to the need to loose weight so I joined this group to get support and I have gotten so much more! Indescribable the changes that have come forth. I have lost over 50 lbs, I am fit for the 1st time in my life, set new goals for myself constantly and work hard to achieve them. I have inspired my family to make healthy life changes, began to garden - this not only a more nutritious option to store bought produce but has given me a spiritual lift I needed, meditative and peaceful time just for me to reflect and see life change. My eyes have opened to global concerns and how they effect us inside and out. I feel empowered to research these things and read about the many before me who also were driven by such knowledge. I have changed. Physically, mentally, emotionally by this website. The doors have opened for me and well as so many of the friends I have met here. I came here to loose a few pounds and it changed my entire life! Jan 19, 2012 ~ Alittle over 5 months have flown by!! Weight is ok only gained give or take 4 lbs so I am sure being back is more for emotional encouragment, ideas to shake up the fitness plan, friendship that I seem to have trouble finding in "real life"...but typing my 1st few words here has already started a new feeling of commitment I havent felt in months. It does feel good to be back :D I feel proud that I havent gained back the weight I lost REALLY PROUD!! Go me! On Aug 2nd 2011 I have decided to leave Livestrong with the strong confidence that I have learned enough important tools and skills to keep off the some 60 lbs I have lost here. I have made some amazing friends, and have sorted through alot of "issues" over the year. The women who have been there for me through this process that I met on this website were in my opinion sent by God and are angels each in their own way. I will keep a part of each of them with me forever. Thanks to everyone who supported me, and I honestly hope I dont have to come back only because it means that it works It really works! And for me thats the real test :D
