I also don't want to be another statistic about obesity, with all the illness' that go with it. I want to lose the weight whilst it is MY idea And finally, as I previously mentioned, now that I am a graduate, I don't want be a fat blob in front of a prospective employer, as lets face it, we are discriminated against. So instead of trying to change the world, how about I start smaller and change me? My weigh in - 316 pounds, 22st 8lb as off 27th Aug 2010 My "ideal" - 172 pounds Not going to attempt that just now My Personal goal - 200 pounds, or 14st 4lb Weight to lose - 116 pounds or 8st 4lb (thats a person!!!) Percentage lost to date - 17.72% Percentage of goal (116lbs) - 48.27% Body fat percentage - 30.3% (as at04/04/11) I think it may be an idea to break it down a bit to make it less daunting so for the moment, my targets look a little like this Milestones [X] 1. 10 pounds lost 11/10/10 [X] 1a. 14 pounds lost (1 stone lost, only really of note if in the UK) 18/10/10 [X] 1b. 16 pounds gone and out of the 300's 01/11/10 [X] 2. 25 pounds lost 23/11/10 (achieved again, 07/12/10) [X] 3. 32 pounds lost or 10% gone 14/12/10 [X] 3a. 37 pounds lost and BMI less than 40 10/01/11 [X] 4. 50 pounds lost, no longer morbidly/very obese (07/03/11) [achieved again 31/10/11] [] 4a. 66lb gone, Now at 250lbs [] 5. 70 pounds lost (5 stone down) [] 5b. 75 pounds lost [] 6. 80 pounds lost (25% gone) [] 7. 100 pounds lost [] 8. 107 pounds lost, no longer obese [] 9. 110 pounds lost [] 10. 116 pounds lost and personal goal met Goals [X] Xmas goal - 35lbs gone 21/12/10 [X] Hogmanay goal - 37lbs gone and BMI >40 10/01/11 [X] 14/03 Goal - 50lbs gone (07/03/11) [] Birthday Goal (11th April) - 66lbs gone [] Anniversary Goal (17th June) - 100lbs gone Wish me luck.
